A plane had trouble before landing. The windshield burst in mid-air. The plane was flying from Denver to Los Angeles. There were 140 passengers and crew members on board at the time. The windshield burst and the glass shattered, injuring a pilot.
This incident occurred on a United Airlines flight in the United States on October 16. The windshield of the airline’s Boeing 737 Max-8 plane burst in mid-air. The plane was flying from Denver to Los Angeles. The pilot was injured when the glass hit him. At that time, the plane was at an altitude of 36,000 feet. Suddenly, it dropped 10,000 feet and went to an altitude of 26,000 feet. Then an emergency landing was made.
Usually, airplane windshields are made of very strong materials that do not break even after being hit by birds or sudden pressure changes. However, the nature of the damage in this incident and the description of the pilot’s injuries have told experts that this was not a simple structural crack. Photos circulating online show burn marks at the site of the crack and bruises on the pilot’s hand.
