After the stone looting at the Sapadhar tourist center in Companiganj, Sylhet, stone looting is also going on in Jaflong. For the past few days, stone thieves have been doing this misdeed in the dark of night. They are also trying to loot stones during the day. Large stones have already been removed from the Zero Point area. As a result, the tourist center is losing its beauty, the environment is also under threat. Tourists have expressed anger in such a situation. However, the administration claims that patrols have been increased to prevent stone looting. Another tourist center, Sapadhar, has become a desert due to open looting. It is worth noting that the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched an investigation into the horrific looting incident at Sapadhar in Sylhet. A nine-member delegation from the ACC visited the Sapadhar tourist center on Wednesday (August 13) afternoon. They collected information and data about the looting by talking to the locals. Along with the ACC, police and administration officials are also inspecting the scene.
