After a long vacation, Educational institutions are opening today
There were 9 days off on the occasion of Autumn Durga Puja, Fateha-e-Yazdaham, Lakshmi Puja and Prabarana Purnima. Educational institutions are opening today.
All public and private educational institutions of the country are opening today on Sunday after a long 11-day holiday.
According to the annual calendar of the Ministry of Education, the autumn Durga Puja holiday started on October 9, followed by Fateha-e-Yazdaham holiday on October 15, Lakshmi Puja and Prabarana Purnima holiday on October 16. All in all, the holiday lasts till October 17. As the next two days are Friday and Saturday, the educational institution is opening today.
In this regard, Motijheel Ideal School and College Assistant Headmaster Roknuzzaman Sheikh told the media, “The school is opening today after 11 days of vacation. All students-parents have been advised to send their children to school.’
Meanwhile, Farida Yachmin, head teacher of Dhanmondi Govt Boys High School, told the media, “The classes of the morning branch have started in the morning. I was noticing everyone’s spontaneous presence in the field before the class started. Our students are very happy. I hope that the anxiety among the students about the situation in the country before the closure has also been overcome.
Also, the school authorities have taken all measures to keep the school clean. As it is dengue season, everyone has been asked to be careful.
