Advisor Supradeep Chakma emphasizes on implementing initiatives to make students of the Hill Tracts smart through technology

Advisor of the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Supradeep Chakma inaugurated the newly constructed main gate (arch) of Khagrachari Government High School on Saturday. After the inauguration, in a view-sharing meeting held in the office of the school principal, Advisor Supradeep Chakma said that students of the Chittagong Hill Tracts will be taught the use of modern technology so that they can become smarter and blend in with the mainstream of the country and earn the country’s reputation. He said that on the instructions of the Honorable Chief Advisor, a plan has been taken to introduce Starlink technology in the Hill Tracts and bring educational institutions under the computer network. He emphasized on continuing the use of modern technology to keep the education system up-to-date. Advisor Supradeep Chakma also said that emphasis should be placed on mathematics, English and science to make students digital and modern. Skilled and trained teachers will be appointed in these subjects and no compromise will be made in the appointment of teachers. This initiative is expected to open a new horizon for the students of the hilly region. The program was attended by the Honorable Chairman of Khagrachhari Hill District Council Shefalika Tripura, Deputy Commissioner ABM Iftekharul Islam Khandaker, Private Secretary to the Advisor (Deputy Secretary) Khandaker Mushfiqur Rahman, Superintendent of Police Arefin Jewel, Assistant Private Secretary to the Advisor (Senior Assistant Secretary) Subhashish Chakma, Acting Headmaster of Khagrachhari Government High School Md. Jalal Islam, General Secretary of the Press Club HM Prafulla, members of the District Council, teachers and students of the school.
