Advisor for Forest, Environment and Climate Syeda Rizwana Hasan has urged not to spread concerns that tax burden will increase from August. She said that the issue is still on the government’s discussion table. She said this at a seminar organized at a hotel in the capital on Sunday (July 20). At the time, she said that if sustainability can be maintained at the consumer level, it will be possible to ensure more sustainable investment. She said that the government is working on water usage policies in the industrial sector. In addition, the interim government has taken initiatives to bring progress in the renewable energy sector. She also said that the government is working on the tobacco policy. If changes are made, discussions will be held with all stakeholders. The government has emphasized on the sound management of the natural resources within the country. The advisor called for focusing on affordable and environmentally friendly energy.
