Advisor forced to ride motorcycle to destination due to heavy traffic
After being stuck in a long traffic jam in Ashuganj, Brahmanbaria on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway, Road Transport and Bridges Advisor Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan was finally forced to ride a motorcycle to his destination.
This Wednesday (October 8) morning, the advisor got off the train from Dhaka at Bhairab Railway Station in Kishoreganj. From there, on his way to Sarail-Bishwar Road intersection with his convoy, he got stuck in heavy traffic in Sohagpur area of Ashuganj. After waiting for an hour, when the traffic was not moving even an inch, he decided to ride a motorcycle.
When the advisor, wearing glasses and a helmet, got on the motorcycle, a wave of curiosity and surprise arose among the police and the general public present. The police members quickly started clearing the road. At this time, many people stuck in the traffic jam captured the scene on their mobile phones.
Ashuganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Khairul Alam said, “The advisor left for Sarail from in front of Hotel Ujanbhati in Ashuganj at around 10:15 am. After reaching Sohagpur area, he got stuck in a traffic jam. Later, he continued his journey on a motorcycle.”
