Abdus Salam takes charge as Dhaka South City Corporation Administrator
Virgin freedom fighter Md. Abdus Salam has formally taken charge as the Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC). Today, Tuesday (February 24), he took charge from Local Government Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
Earlier, yesterday (Monday), he was appointed as the Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation by the President’s order. Joint Secretary Mahbuba Ireen signed the notification issued in this regard.
According to relevant sources, this appointment has been made to further accelerate the administrative activities and citizen service activities of Dhaka South City Corporation. By assuming the new responsibility, he is expected to lead the ongoing development activities and city management of the organization.
