A youth was killed in a cocktail explosion in Shariatpur

A youth named Sohan Bepari (32) was killed in a cocktail explosion in Jajira, Shariatpur. Police believe he died in the explosion while making a cocktail. The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday (January 8) in the Mulai Beparikandi area of ​​Bilaspur Union of the upazila. The deceased Sohan Bepari is the son of Delwar Bepari of the neighboring Satgariya Kandi area.
According to police and local sources, there has been a long-standing dispute between the chairman of Bilaspur Union of Jajira Upazila, Kuddus Bepari, and the supporters of Swechchhasebak League leader Jalil Madbar over dominance. The clash between the two parties has been going on since last Saturday night.
Today (January 8), the locals woke up to a loud noise again. Later, they informed the police after seeing the body of a youth named Sohan Bepari (32) lying in a garlic field. The police went to the spot and recovered the body. Jazeera Police Station OC Saleh Ahmed said, “We are currently at the scene. Signs of a cocktail explosion were found on the body. Legal action will be taken in this incident.”
