A youth has been shot to dead publicly in Chittagong
A young man named Aftab Uddin Tahsin (27) was killed in the firing from two sides in Shamserpara area of Chandgaon police station of Chittagong city.
This incident happened around 5:30 pm on Monday.
Chandgaon Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Aftab Uddin confirmed the matter.
It is known that Tahsin is the son of Md Musa of Dila Mistry village of Hajirpool area of Ward No. 4 of Chandgaon police station.
According to locals, there was a long-standing conflict between the Sarwar and Chota Sajjad factions in Chandgaon area of the city. Because of this, today they are involved in the shelling.
OC Aftab Uddin said, ‘After the shootings, we went to the spot. Earlier, when a young man named Tahsan was taken from there to Chittagong Medical College (CHMEC) hospital, the doctor declared him dead.
