A massive fire broke out at a furniture factory in the capital. The incident took place at 1:15 am on Saturday (December 20) in the Munshibari area of Satarkul, Badda. Fire Service Headquarters Station Officer Shahjahan confirmed this information.
He said that 8 units of the fire service tried for about 2 hours and brought the fire under control at around 3 am. He added that no one was injured in the incident. However, how the fire started and the extent of the damage are not known.
