9 people die in a day due to dengue

In the last 24 hours, 9 people have died in the country due to dengue. During this period, 1,042 people have been admitted to the hospital due to dengue.
This information was given by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (September 5).
The notification said that among the new patients admitted to the hospital, 319 are from the two city corporations of Dhaka, 201 from Dhaka division, 195 from Barisal division, 104 from Chittagong division, 41 from Mymensingh division, 23 from Rangpur division, 9 from Sylhet division and 82 from Rajshahi division.
The Directorate General of Health Services said that since January this year, 49,907 people have been admitted to the hospital due to dengue and 212 people have died of dengue.
Incidentally, last year, 1 lakh 1 thousand 214 people were infected with dengue. And 575 people died of dengue.
