705 people hospitalized with dengue, two die
In the last 24 hours, 705 people have been hospitalized with dengue in the country. During this time, two people have died due to dengue. The Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported this information today, Monday (November 24).
The notification said that among the new patients admitted to the hospital, 248 are from the two city corporations of Dhaka, 137 from Dhaka division, 62 from Barisal division, 116 from Chittagong division, 34 from Khulna division, 53 from Mymensingh division, 34 from Rajshahi division, five from Rangpur division and 16 from Sylhet division. Incidentally, last year, 1 lakh 1 thousand 214 people were infected with dengue. And 575 died of dengue.
