6 people die of dengue in a day

In the last 24 hours (from 8 am on Sunday to 8 am on Monday), six more people have died of dengue fever across the country. With this, the death toll from mosquito-borne fever has reached 269 this year. During this period, 983 new patients have been admitted to hospitals. This information was given in the daily dengue bulletin of the Directorate General of Health Services today (October 27). The Directorate General of Health Services said that among the patients admitted to hospitals due to dengue in the last 24 hours, 111 are in Barisal division (outside the City Corporation), 171 in Chittagong division (outside the City Corporation), 227 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 133 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 62 in Khulna division (outside the City Corporation) and 41 in Mymensingh division (outside the City Corporation).
