5 people die of dengue in a day, 490 hospitalized

In the last 24 hours, 5 people have died of dengue in the country. During this period, 490 new patients have been hospitalized. This information was given in the regular dengue press release sent by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Wednesday (December 3). So far this year, 391 people have died of dengue. And the number of patients hospitalized due to this disease has increased to 96,067.
The highest number of deaths due to dengue occurred in November this year. 104 people died of dengue in that month. Earlier, 80 people died in October and 76 in September. 39 people died in August, 41 in July, 19 in June, three in May, seven in April, three in February and 10 in January. No patient died in March.
On the other hand, 1,161 people were hospitalized with dengue in January, 374 in February, 336 in March, 701 in April, 1,773 in May, 5,951 in June, 10,496 in August. In addition, 15,866 people in September, 22,520 in October, and 24,535 in November.
