5 people die of dengue

Five more people have died of dengue across the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 387 people have been admitted to various hospitals. This information was given in a press release regarding dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (December 14).
It said that among the patients admitted to hospitals due to dengue in the last 24 hours, there are 40 in Barisal division (outside the City Corporation), 71 in Chittagong division (outside the City Corporation), 83 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 53 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 55 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 33 in Khulna division (outside the City Corporation), 26 in Mymensingh division (outside the City Corporation), 22 in Rajshahi division (outside the City Corporation) and four in Sylhet division (outside the City Corporation).
In the last 24 hours, 447 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals. A total of 98,729 patients have been discharged from hospitals so far this year.
