5 more die of dengue, 636 new patients admitted to hospital

Five people have died of dengue in the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 636 people have been admitted to hospital due to the Aedes mosquito-borne disease. This information was given in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (November 30).
The release said that in the last 24 hours (from 8 am yesterday Saturday to 8 am today Sunday), 75 people have been admitted in Barisal division, 95 people in Chittagong division, 116 people in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 147 in Dhaka North city, 74 in Dhaka South city, 56 people in Khulna division (outside the City Corporation), 45 in Mymensingh division, 17 in Rajshahi division, 2 in Rangpur division and 9 in Sylhet division.
It said that 803 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours. This year, 92,025 people have been discharged. A total of 94,402 patients have been admitted to hospitals since January this year. So far this year, 382 people have died of dengue.
