5 members of the same family die in road accident

5 members of the same family from Padma Char in Bagha Upazila of Rajshahi have been killed. The accident occurred in front of a filling station called Kushtia Store on the Kushtia city bypass on Saturday (February 21) afternoon.
The deceased are Amena Begum and Kamela Begum, the two wives of Khirjar Mollah of Dadpur Char in Chakrajapur Union of Padma in Bagha Upazila, and his daughter’s son-in-law Zakaria Hossain, Nur Islam and his wife Shahnaz Khatun Sefali. It is learned that they are uncle, aunt, son-in-law and nephew of the same family. Zahurul Islam, the village doctor of Dadpur Char, nephew of Khirjar Mollah, confirmed the matter.
It is learned that the auto-rickshaw was going towards Trimohani via the bypass from Baoil Kaburhat in Kushtia. At that time, a gas cylinder truck coming from the opposite direction lost control and hit the CNG directly. The CNG was twisted and they died on the spot. Rural doctor Zahurul Islam said that they were coming from a house built in Khajanagar, Kushtia a few days ago to another house in Dadpur, Chakrajpur.
They had built a house in Khajanagar village, Kushtia a few days ago due to the erosion of the Padma. They live in Dadpur Char and Khajanagar villages of Chakrajpur union in Bagha upazila. In this regard, Kushtia Highway Police Inspector Joydev said that three people died on the spot and two are undergoing treatment in the hospital. The truck and CNG have been seized. The truck driver is absconding. The legal matter of this incident is under process.
