455 people hospitalized with dengue, two die
In the last 24 hours, 455 people have been hospitalized with dengue in the country. During this period, two people have died due to dengue. The Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported this information on Monday (December 08).
The notification said that among the new patients admitted to the hospital, 161 are from the two city corporations of Dhaka, 53 from Dhaka division, 57 from Barisal division, 51 from Chittagong division, 44 from Khulna division, 32 from Mymensingh division, 48 from Rajshahi division, three from Rangpur division and six from Sylhet division. Incidentally, last year, 1 lakh 1 thousand 214 people were infected with dengue. And 575 died of dengue.
