4 NCP leaders meet with chief advisor

National Citizen Party (NCP) representatives are meeting with the chief advisor to the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The meeting began at 5 pm today, Wednesday (October 22) at the State Guest House Jamuna.
The NCP delegation is led by party convener Nahid Islam. The delegation also includes NCP senior joint convener Samantha Sharmin, joint convener Khaled Saifullah and chief organizer (northern region) Sarjis Alam.
A BNP delegation met the chief advisor on Tuesday. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee members Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed were present at the meeting.
Planning Advisor Professor Wahiduddin Mahmud, Legal Advisor Professor Asif Nazrul and Industry Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan were present on behalf of the government. After the meeting, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that he has urged the chief advisor to remove party people from the election-time government.
