4 more people die of dengue, 803 admitted

Four people have died of dengue across the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the death toll from dengue this year has reached 259. This information was given in a report sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday (October 23).
The report said that from 8 am on Tuesday to 8 am on Wednesday, 803 people were admitted to hospitals due to dengue. Of these, 285 were from Dhaka Metropolitan City, 147 in Dhaka Division (outside the City Corporation), 112 in Barisal Division, 97 in Chittagong Division, 49 in Khulna Division, 49 in Mymensingh Division, 37 in Rajshahi Division, 17 in Rangpur Division and 10 in Sylhet Division. In addition, 63,170 people have been admitted to hospitals due to this disease so far this year.
