4 killed in Rajshahi market crash

A truck loaded with sand lost control and crashed into a market in Puthia, Rajshahi. Four people were killed in the incident. Another person was injured. The incident took place at around 7:30 am today, Thursday (January 1) in the Jhalmalia Kalar Hat area of ​​Puthia.
According to eyewitnesses, a sand truck lost control while going from Rajshahi to Natore and crashed into the Jhalmalia Kalar Hat area. Four people were killed on the spot in the truck crash. One person has been sent to Rajshahi Medical College (RMC) Hospital in a critical condition.
Puthia Fire Service and Civil Defense Warehouse Inspector Sarwar Hossain said that after receiving information at around 7:50 am, the fire service reached the spot and rescued four people dead. The bodies have been handed over to the police. Another person has been sent to the hospital in a critical condition. Initially, it is believed that the truck loaded with sand lost control and entered the market due to dense fog.
