4 bodies of same family recovered in capital
Police have recovered the bodies of 4 members of a house in the Wapda Bihari Camp area of Pallabi in the capital. The bodies were recovered on Thursday (February 5) afternoon. Pallabi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AKM Alamgir Jahan confirmed that the four deceased were two couples and their two children.
The OC said that after receiving the information, the police and the CID’s crime scene unit reached the spot and started a preliminary investigation. After preparing the autopsy report, the bodies are being sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
The names and identities of the deceased were not immediately known. However, quoting locals, the police said that the family had been suffering from debt problems for a long time. They may have committed suicide out of depression.
