37 houses ready for new ministers: Public Works Advisor

Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan said that a residence will be decided for the new Prime Minister as per his wish. He said that a decision will be taken after discussing with BNP regarding the Prime Minister’s residence. It will be as they wish. The Public Works Advisor briefed the new ministers about the residences at the Secretariat today, Monday (February 16). He said this in the briefing.
The Public Works Advisor said that 37 houses have been prepared for the ministers and state ministers so far. These houses have been prepared in Mintu Road, Dhanmondi and Gulshan. Preparations are underway to build a few more houses if necessary. These will be ready by the time of taking oath. He said that this government has taken power through a mass uprising. We have tried to work in the interest of the people for 18 months. We have tried to bring the country to a new pace from the fascist rule of the last 15 and a half years. We have tried to be accountable to the people for our work.
Adilur Rahman also said that they should ask about the TIB report on corruption. I don’t think public discussion and the TIB report go together. If you talk to those who were on the streets during the anti-fascist struggle, the picture may be different. Reform initiatives have been taken in many places. Reforms have not been completed in some places, I hope they will be completed.
