355 farmers receive Tk 5 crore investment

Tk 5 crore 29 lakh has been invested in the crop production of marginal farmers of Chuadanga. Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC has distributed this investment among 355 farmers. Rafat Ullah Khan, Managing Director of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited, was present as the chief guest at the investment distribution ceremony among farmers.
He said, “We have been investing in the farmers of Chuadanga for several years. Farmers get this investment at a small profit in maize cultivation. As a result, the amount of investment will increase further. Maize cultivation is very high in this district. We will always stand by the farmers.” Deputy Managing Director of the bank SM Abu Zafar was present as the special guest. Chuadanga Branch Manager Shariful Islam presided over the ceremony.
