34 Awami League leaders and activists arrested in the capital
The Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 34 more leaders and activists of the banned Awami League and its affiliated organizations on charges of planning, financing and participating in the Jhatika procession in the capital.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the DMP’s Media and Public Relations Department (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter on Monday (November 10) afternoon. He said that 34 leaders and activists of the banned Awami League and its affiliated organizations have been arrested. Important information has been obtained from them. Details will be announced later.
