3 Awami League miscreants arrested with weapons

Coast Guard has arrested 3 Awami League miscreants with domestic firearms, live cartridges and Chinese axes in a joint operation in Bhola Lieutenant Commander Harun-or-Rashid, media officer of the Coast Guard Headquarters, gave this information on Tuesday (July 8) morning. Harun-or-Rashid said that based on a secret information, a joint operation was conducted in the areas adjacent to Baracharshamaiya and Charkali of Charshamaiya Union under Bhola Sadar Police Station at 2 am on Monday (July 7). During the operation, 3 Awami League miscreants were arrested from that area along with 1 domestic firearm, 2 rounds of live cartridges and 5 Chinese axes. He also said that the process of handing over the detainees to Bhola Sadar Police Station for further legal action is under way. He further said that Bangladesh Coast Guard has been patrolling 24 hours a day to maintain the law and order situation in the country. Through this, the law and order situation in the coastal and riverine areas under the jurisdiction of the Coast Guard has improved to a great extent. The Coast Guard will continue such operations in the future as well.
