3 arrested for attempted murder of college girl in Narsingdi
Police have arrested 3 accused in the attempted murder of a college girl in Narsingdi. They were arrested from Badarpur area of Hajipur union in Narsingdi Sadar upazila on Friday (January 2) night, confirmed Narsingdi Sadar Police Station Sub-Inspector Shri Ramkrishna Das. The arrested are Shipon (27), son of Abul Hasem, of Uttarpara area of Badarpur, Abul Hasem (62), son of Sultan Mia, and Abul Kashem (60).
Due to a family dispute, on December 26 last year, the accused hacked Dina Akhter (17), daughter of Rouf Mia of Badarpur area of Hajipur, causing bloody injuries. In view of this, Dina’s father Rouf Mia filed a written complaint against 5 people at Narsingdi Sadar Police Station. Narsingdi Sadar Police Station Sub-Inspector Shri Ramakrishna Das said that the accused hacked the college girl to death due to a family dispute. Three people have been arrested for their involvement in the incident.
