25 newly appointed judges to take oath today

Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed will administer the oath to 25 judges appointed to the High Court Division of the Supreme Court. Their oath-taking will be held at the Judges Lounge of the Supreme Court on Tuesday (August 26) at 1:30 pm. The Registrar’s Office of the Supreme Court has confirmed the matter. The government has appointed 25 people as judges of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court on Monday (August 25). A notification in this regard was issued by the Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs on Monday night. The newly appointed judges are – Supreme Court lawyer Md. Anwarul Islam (Shahin), Additional Secretary of the Law and Justice Division Md. Saiful Islam, District and Sessions Judge of Chittagong Md. Nurul Islam, Secretary of the Law and Justice Department Sheikh Abu Taher, Registrar General of the Supreme Court Aziz Ahmed Bhuiyan, Supreme Court lawyers Rajiuddin Ahmed and Faisal Hasan Arif, Joint Secretary of the Law and Justice Department SM Saiful Islam, Supreme Court lawyers Md. Asif Hasan and Md. Ziaul Haque, Deputy Attorney General Dihidar Masum Kabir, Habiganj District and Sessions Judge Jasmine Ara Begum, Secretary of the Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission Murad-e-Mawla Sohel, Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md. Zakir Hossain, Solicitor (Senior District Judge) Md. Rafizul Islam, Deputy Attorney General Md. Manjur Alam, Md.
