20 kg Baghair caught in Padma

A huge baghair fish has been caught in a fisherman’s net in the Padma River in Daulatdia, Goalanda Upazila of Rajbari. The fish weighs 19 kg 800 grams.

This Monday morning, the baghair fish was brought to the Daulatdia Ferry Ghat fish shop. There, the owner of Shakil Sohan Fish Shop, Shahjahan Mia Samrat, bought it for 31,680 taka at an auction, at a price of 1600 taka per kg.

He said, “I am purchasing the fish and contacting the buyers. I will sell it if I get a small profit.”
