2 people die of dengue, 715 hospitalized

Two people have died of dengue fever across the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the death toll from dengue this year has increased to 217. In addition, 715 people have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours due to the Aedes mosquito-borne disease.
This information was given in a report sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Tuesday (October 7).
According to the Directorate General of Health Services, 131 people in Barisal division, 70 in Chittagong division, 142 in Dhaka division, 141 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 114 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 41 in Khulna division, 34 in Mymensingh division, 32 in Rajshahi division and ten in Rangpur division have been hospitalized due to dengue.
Of the two people who died of dengue in the last 24 hours, one died in Dhaka South City Corporation and one in Dhaka North City Corporation.
