1,797 people arrested across the country

1,797 people have been arrested across the country in the last 24 hours in special police operations.

This information was given in a press release signed by AIG (Media and PR) Enamul Haque Sagar of the Police Headquarters on Monday (June 23) afternoon.

The press release said that 1,187 accused in cases and warrants have been arrested in special police operations across the country in the last 24 hours. In addition, 610 people have been arrested in other incidents. In total, 1,797 people have been arrested in the last 24 hours.

During this time, 2 rifles, 1 foreign pistol, 4 magazines, 6 rounds of bullets, 1 chapati, 1 ramda, 2 knives, 1 local weapon and 2 unexploded cocktails have been recovered.

AIG Enamul Haque Sagar also said that this special police operation will continue.
