127,695,183 voters can vote in the election

Ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections, 127,695,183 voters can vote. According to the draft list, there were 127,612,384 voters. EC Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed gave this final information to reporters in front of his office at the Election Building on Tuesday (November 18).
The EC Secretary said that the voter list has been prepared for those aged 18 years and above as on October 31. The final voter list includes 64,814,907 male voters and 62,879,42 female voters. There are also 1,234 voters of the third gender. According to the voter list, the growth rate of male voters is 2.29 percent and the growth rate of female voters is 4.16 percent, the EC Secretary said.
Meanwhile, the Secretary announced the registration of the National Citizens Party (NCP) and the Marxist Socialist Party. He said, “The issue of registration of 7 parties has been raised for reconsideration. The EC will review the parties and take a decision.”
