10 days have passed and still no trace of child Araf has been found
Feni’s Daganbhuyan, four-year-old child Azimul Islam Araf has not been found even after 10 days of his disappearance. Relatives are spending their days in extreme anxiety and worry without finding the child. Missing child Araf is the younger child of Bibi Ayesha, an assistant teacher at Karmulyapur Government Primary School in the upazila, and Gazi Mohammad Kausar, a Nestle marketing officer.
According to family sources, Araf was playing at school in Munshibari area of Yakubpur Union in Daganbhuyan at 10:30 am last Sunday (January 4). He was not found there after a while. Since then, a search has been carried out in all possible places, but the child has not been found yet.
Gazi Mohammad Kausar, father of missing child Araf, said that on the day of his disappearance, Araf went to school with his mother. He was playing with other children in the school premises that day. At that time, his mother was busy with various administrative tasks including distributing books at the school. At one point, Araf disappeared. Since then, we have not been able to find him. We are spending our days in extreme anxiety without finding him. Feni Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Saiful Islam told us that efforts are being made to rescue the child by examining the CCTV footage from where the child went missing and talking to his relatives.
