Four-nation delegation meets to end Middle East war

A meeting was held on the first day between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt to end the Middle East war. The foreign ministers of these four countries met in the Pakistani capital Islamabad on Sunday (March 29).
The issue of reopening the Strait of Hormuz was of particular importance in the discussions. After the meeting, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that they discussed possible ways to end the ongoing war quickly and permanently.
They also discussed possible US-Iran talks in Islamabad. Before this quadrilateral meeting, Dar also exchanged views with the foreign ministers of the three countries separately. The representatives of the countries are scheduled to meet on Monday for the second and final day of the talks.
