Saudi-Pakistan meeting on Iran issue

Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman Al Saud met with Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir. The Saudi Defense Ministry said that the meeting discussed ‘Tehran’s aggression against Riyadh’. The Saudi Defense Ministry said that the meeting discussed ‘Iran’s aggression against Saudi Arabia’.
The Defense Ministry said that the talks were held within the framework of the existing strategic defense agreement between the two brotherly countries. The ministry also said that both sides expressed the hope that Iran would choose the path of prudence and reason and refrain from wrong decisions or misleading actions.
Incidentally, the dialogue between Tehran and Washington on Iran’s nuclear program lasted 21 days from February 6 to February 27. The dialogue ended on February 27 without any agreement.
The next day, February 28, the US military launched ‘Operation Epic Fury’ in Iran. In line with Washington, Israel also launched a military operation in Iran called ‘Operation Roaring Lion’ at the same time.
In response to this attack, Iran has repeatedly launched drone and missile attacks on US military bases in Israel and the Middle East. Various international media outlets have reported that Russia is providing intelligence support to Iran in this war.
