Chasing and counter-chasing between supporters of BNP nominated and deprived candidates in Noakhali

A chase and counter-chasing incident occurred between supporters of BNP nominated and deprived candidates in Noakhali-6 constituency. The incident took place in the Ochkhali Bazar Zero Point area of ​​Hatia Upazila on Saturday (November 22) evening.
The situation in the area has been tense since the incident. Locals said that supporters of former MP Engineer Fazlul Azim started gathering on one side of Zero Point from noon. At the same time, supporters of Central BNP Organizing Secretary Mahbuber Rahman Shamim gathered on the other side of Zero Point.
Later, a chase and counter-chasing and scuffle started between supporters of both sides. At this time, the sound of cocktail explosions was heard. Several people from both sides were injured. Later, the Navy went to the spot and brought the situation under control.
