UITS to host Inter-College Football Tournament 2025

Bangladesh’s first IT and science-based private university, University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), is going to host the much-awaited Inter-College Football Tournament 2025 at its own playground in October. The upcoming tournament will be inaugurated with a grand ceremony on October 15, 2025. After two weeks of intense competition, this colorful event will end with the grand finale on October 30, 2025. The competition will be held in the group stage, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final stages. The winning team will receive Tk 1,00,000 and the runner-up team will receive Tk 50,000.
The organizers informed that a festive atmosphere will be created around this tournament, where football will not only be a competition, but also a symbol of talent development, team spirit and sportsmanship of the youth. The university’s sports club will serve as volunteers to ensure the tournament is successful and fair.
The organizers further said that the main goal of the Inter-College Football Tournament 2025 is to involve young people in sports, strengthen mutual relations, and enrich the culture of competitive sports.
