Schoolgirl rescued after 3 months of kidnapping, kidnapper arrested
RAB rescued a seventh-grade schoolgirl in Pirojpur’s Kaukhali 3 months after her kidnapping. The kidnapper was also arrested at the same time.
On Tuesday night (September 16), RAB-1 and Dhaka Airport Police conducted a joint operation and rescued the schoolgirl. At that time, RAB members also arrested the alleged kidnapper Abu Musa. The arrested kidnapper is Md. Abu Musa Sikder (23), son of Md. Jalal Sikder of Bagirhat area of Taltoli upazila of Barguna.
It is learned that Musa, who met the 13-year-old schoolgirl through TikTok, came to Kaukhali and harassed the girl many times on the way to school and proposed marriage. When the girl informed her family, the family banned Abu Musa from TikTok and rejected the marriage proposal.
