6-month-old baby murdered by slitting throat, mother arrested

A 6-month-old baby named Juhi was murdered in Taraganj. In this incident, the mother of the child who was killed in a bloody state, Tulshi Rani, was arrested by the people of the area. This tragic incident took place on Monday (September 15) morning in Palashbari Hindupara of Kursha Union of the upazila. The deceased child is the second daughter of Babulal and Tulshi Rani couple of that village. According to local sources, Babulal’s wife Tulshi Rani had not spoken for about 4-5 days. She had also stopped eating and drinking. This Monday morning, Babulal’s mother Patani Bala gave the child to Tulshi Rani to feed. After a few minutes, she came and saw that her son’s wife had slit the child’s throat with a knife and left it on the bed. At this time, when Patani Babla screamed, the people of the village rushed to arrest the murderer mother. UP member Savitri Sen said, the incident is very sad.
