Decision not to have relations with 3 DU teachers
The Saada Dal, an organization of pro-BNP and pro-Jamaat teachers at Dhaka University (DU), has decided to sever ties with three teachers for violating organizational discipline.
The decision was announced in a press release signed by Saada Dal convener Professor Dr. Morshed Hasan Khan, joint convener Professor Dr. Abdus Salam and Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Sarkar on Monday night.
The press release said that there is only one organization called Saada Dal at Dhaka University. The Saada Dal will not have any relationship with the three people who are introducing themselves as the convener and joint convener of the organization with the same name by violating organizational discipline.
The teachers are Professor Dr. Md. Aminul Islam of the Department of Physics, Professor Dr. Muhammad Mezbah-ul-Islam of the Department of Information Science and Library Management, and Professor Dr. Al Mojaddidi Alfesani of the Department of Botany.
The notification further mentioned that in the general meeting of the white party at the faculty lounge of the university, it was decided that from now on, these three teachers will not be able to identify themselves as the white party of Dhaka University. Therefore, everyone was advised in the meeting not to have any kind of relationship with the said three teachers on behalf of the DU white party. If anyone joins them ignoring this decision of the party, a party decision will be taken regarding them later.
