A faction is conspiring to destroy communal harmony in the country.
Attorney General Mohammad Asaduzzaman has said that a party is conspiring to destroy communal harmony in the country. He made this comment in his speech at the 15th founding anniversary and fourth conference of the Bangladesh Human Rights Foundation in Chittagong on Saturday afternoon.
The Attorney General has said, “In the name of the constitution and the liberation war, the Awami League killed democracy in this country and took away even the right to vote.”
Mohammad Asaduzzaman also mentioned, “Maximum security for the Hindu community is ensured within the country, yet there is a party hatching conspiracies to ruin the communal harmony of this very country.”
About the role of the Awami League on the Martyred Intellectuals Day, he said, “The Awami League buried the bodies of 70 people behind the intellectuals’ graveyard during the July Movement. Did they commit such crimes against humanity that no one from their party came to pay homage on Intellectuals’ Day?’
