Israel’s ground attack on Lebanon begins

Israel launched a ground attack on Lebanon. They started attacking the designated targets from today Tuesday.

Regarding the ground attack, the Israel Defense Forces said the troops launched a “specific and limited” ground operation in several villages along the border with southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah infrastructure a few hours ago.

Israel’s new ground operation in Lebanon has been named ‘Operation Northern Arrows’. The Israeli army said the attack was carried out by a combination of ground, air and artillery forces.

Earlier on Monday night, the security council of occupying Israel authorized the ground attack in Lebanon. At that time, it was reported that the next phase of the war against Hezbollah had been approved.

Before officially announcing the ground attack on Lebanon, the Israeli forces carried out massive air and artillery strikes in the country’s border areas.

The Israel Defense Forces statement claimed that the ground attack would be “limited, localized and target specific Hezbollah positions”.
