Hilsa is not going as a gift to India, it is being exported
Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Advisor to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate and Water Resources Affairs of the Interim Government said, “Hilsa is not going to India as a gift, it is being exported.” And Bangladesh government will get the export money. It is not money to be taken lightly.

Rizwana Hasan said, “Hilsa has not yet arrived from Bangladesh. Only one decision has been made. Before that, the price has increased. Therefore, it is not true that the price will increase if exported.
She also said, “Those who want hilsa, but they have also given a lot of support to the anti-discrimination student movement from the other side.” We all saw that. We talk a lot very easily. We must always remember that we have to discuss many issues with our neighbors. We do not want the door of that discussion to be closed on small issues.
