3 people were arrested on suspicion of terrorism in the procession of the Islamic movement.

The police arrested three people from the protest march held by the Islamic movement in Bangladesh against the Israeli brutality in various countries of the Middle East including Palestine and the taunting of Islam and Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) in India.

They were detained from the procession in front of the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram after Friday prayers. Initially, the names of the detainees were not known. They had black flags in their hands.

The three detainees said that they had come to the procession from Mohammadpur in the capital. The detainees claim themselves as students.

When asked why the black flag came in hand, they said, they know what is the problem with the black flag. They said that only Kalima was written on the flag.

In this regard, a police official said that they are being taken for questioning, not detention. They are not part of this procession and nobody in Islami Andolan Bangladesh knows them.
